Chinese New Year

Dan and I have just returned from spending half of today at the Chinese New Years celebrations in central London. I was hoping to get some good photos and info that I could use in a future issue of PALS, even if it had to wait until the end of next January and the next Chinese New Year.

We did get a couple of photos of China Town with the gate and all the lanterns up, but it was so busy that getting anything more - or even seeing very much! - was tough. I think the experience itself will probably be worthy of an article in a future issue of the newsletter though.

If you're involved in, or know anything about, any sort of New Years celebration (Chinese New Year or otherwise) around the world, I'd love to hear about it and add some info into a future newsletter.

Never really been involved in - but I checked out the Chinese New Year last year in Manchester. Just remember it being a fantastic gathering with parades, markets, and good food. Oh and lots of people...
