Day 29: Saturday 1 August

The ugly duckling and swan flying away at the end of the Carnival of the Animals puppet show outside Mountain View public library this morning. Joe was engaged for the full half hour, asked if there would be more when it finished, and was especially taken by the pigs and their houses (which he was really keen on the wolf blowing down). And I thought he would be bored and running around the park after 10 minutes! I should have more faith.
